The Auberge:
A delightful holiday in the wilderness with marvelous beaches awaits you. The auberge is located near Saint-Michel-des-Saints, only two hours from Montréal. Settled along the side of a majestic lake that boasts a shoreline 695-kilometre long and wrapped in enchanting scenery, the resort inn's rustic appeal is accentuated by the stones and red pine logs used for its construction. A veritable masterpiece built on a foundation of fine-grained sand, the auberge is an exclusive destination. Enjoy the country charm of 4-star woodland lodging facilities, fine cuisine and a wide variety of experiences and activities. The Auberge's architectural design allows guests to admire nature to their heart's content. The resort includes three 3-story units (the rooms), all linked by indoor corridors to the main building, allowing guests to move easily between units during inclement weather. Spa:
The spa, at the forefront of therapeutic treatments, offers the following services: balneotherapy, massages (including the fabulous waterfall massage), body treatments (wraps, exfoliation and waterfall exfoliation), beauty treatments and pressotherapy. The highly qualified massage therapists will pamper you with personnel attention. If you need to re-energize, have a look at our spa packages. They all include a personal health profile, relaxation period, herbal tea break with fruits, and use of a bathrobe during your stay at the spa.
Dining:
Marc-André Ferland, and his team, are mouth-watering experiences served in an elegant dining room complete with wooden beams and a breathtaking view of the lake. The cocktail lounge, adjacent to the dining room, offers a fireplace and space for people to smoke. The terrace (50 seats) is open during the warmer months of the year. An American buffet breakfast, with a wide variety of dishes, is served every morning. Lunches can be served in various styles: buffet, 'table d'hôte', barbecue, méchoui, or at the Bistro-Bar 'Le Boréal'. The choice depends on the season and the clientele. The evening table d'hôte meal, exquisitely prepared and served, ensure a truly memorable dining experience. Special menus are also provided to complement the theme of your stay. Our Wine Menu offers an impressive selection to accompany your meals.
Activities:
All guests have access to certain number of facilities and equipment: canoes, kayaks, pedal-boats, pedestrian trails, tennis rackets as well as an indoor swimming pool, saunas and whirlpool bath. In addition, from June 24th to September 5th, the clientele has access to one-hour activity of their choice among mountain bike or windsurf (depending on equipment availability). Other activities are available with extra cost: windsurf, sailboat, rabaska canoe, pontoon excursion, seadoo, hydroplane, pond fishing, mountain bike, A.T.V. and a guided excursion with trapper. During wintertime we offer snowshoes, cross-country skis, an outdoor skate rink as well as an indoor swimming pool, saunas and whirlpool bath. Other activities are available with extra cost: dogsledding, ice fishing, snowmobiling and hydraski gliding.
