Halifax
Arrive in Halifax and check in at the Citadel Halifax Hotel for one night. Afternoon: Optional Halifax City Sightseeing Tour.

Day 02
|
Halifax - Digby
Today discover the rustic charm of the famous fishing village of Peggy's Cove. Then it’s on to Grand Pré and the Annapolis Valley - the Land of Evangeline. Visit Champlain's Habitation, Canada's oldest permanent settlement. Overnight in Digby at the Pines Resort overlooking the Bay of Fundy.

Day 03
|
Digby St. John
Board the Princess of Acadia to sail across the Bay of Fundy to New Brunswick. Arrive in Saint John to visit the Reversing Falls Rapids and see a few sights before checking in to the Delta Brunswick Hotel, downtown

Day 04
|
St. John - Charlottetown
Your tour continues through Fundy National Park to Hopewell Cape. After lunch, cross to Prince Edward Island on the Confederation Bridge and tour Canada's birthplace - Charlottetown - before checking in to your hotel for the next two nights. This evening the musical "Anne" is included.

Day 05

Charlottetown
Enjoy a free morning in Charlottetown before visiting Prince Edward Island National Park and "Green Gables”. This evening you’ll enjoy a delicious lobster dinner (meat alternative available) before returning to your hotel.

Day 06
|
Charlottetown - Baddeck
Take the ferry to Nova Scotia, and continue to Cape Breton Island. Visit the Alexander Graham Bell Museum in Baddeck. Spend two nights at the Inverary Inn Resort. The resort offers a short Eagle Watching Boat Tour (weather permitting).

Day 07

Cabot Trail / Cape Breton National Park Excursion
Cape Breton Highlands National Park is yours to discover today as you wind along the famous Cabot Trail. Tonight there is a "Farewell to Nova Scotia" reception before dinner.

Day 08
|
Baddeck Port aux Basques
We take the Atlantic Marine ferry to Port aux Basques. (6 Hours)

Day 09
|
Port aux Basques Cornerbrook
Drive along Newfoundland's rocky coastline, an area that has claimed many ships. Then through the beautiful Codroy Valley to Corner Brook, the second largest city in Newfoundland. Enjoy a city tour and the scenic view from Captain Cook Memorial Park

Day 10

Cornerbrook Port aux Choix
Today’s highlights include: Gros Morne National Park - a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Broom Point fishing exhibit, Lobster Cove Lighthouse, the Sheltered fjords of peaceful Bonne Bay and Port au Choix National Historic Site

Day 11
|
Port aux Choix L’Anse au Clair
A ferry ride takes us first to Blanc Sablon, Quebec, then into Labrador. Red bay, a Basque Whaling Centre is considered to be the first industrial complex in North America. Today this picturesque setting is another world heritage site. Icebergs drifting down from the northern ice pack are sometimes seen floating south through the Strait of Belle Isle.

Day 12
|
L’Anse au Clair St. Anthony
Back on the main island we drive past Tuckamore and the stunted forests of the Northern Peninsula on the way to L’anse aux Meadows National Historic Site. Here you will see the faithful reconstruction of the first settlement of the Vikings founded around 1,000AD, and later this evening we will thrill to the Great Viking Feast that includes entertainment as well as our dinner.

Day 13

St. Anthony Cow Head
Today’s highlight will be a whale watching tour (weather permitting) June and early July is the best time to see Titanic-size icebergs. Next visit the Grenfill Mission, where Sir Wilfred Grenfell brought modern medicine to remote Labrador towns. Then head south to Cow Head. After dinner, take a stroll along the sandy beach and be on the lookout for moose and caribou roaming the area

Day 14
|
Cow Head North Sydney
Part of the morning is dedicated to further exploration of Gros Morne National Park. Then head east with a break in Grand Falls and the Mary March Museum, named after a local Beothuk Indian. The museum is dedicated to the geological and sociological aspects of this part of Newfoundland over the past 5,000 years. You'll also visit a logging camp from the early 1900s where displays show the techniques and machinery used to establish this industry on the island

Day 15
|
North Sydney Halifax
The ferry arrives in North Sydney, Nova Scotia in the early afternoon. Drive along the shores of Bras d'Or to the mainland. Transfer to the airport or individual program extension.
